HOBART - Former Australian cricketer Glenn Hughes will stand trial in Perth in June after he pleaded not guilty to two sexual assault charges in a Perth Magistrates Court.
Hughes faces two charges of sexual penetration without consent in relation to an incident at a Perth hotel in October last year.
It is alleged Hughes and the woman knew each other.
A trial date of June 25 in the District Court was set and Hughes’ bail was extended, The Herald Sun reports.
Hughes, who was the Tasmanian Tigers selector at the time of the incident, had stood down from the post last December after the allegations emerged. (ANI)
