India crushes Pakistan in final match of World Cup Kabaddi 2010

LUDHIANA - Indian Kabaddi players brought cheers to its fans across the country as it defeated its arch rival Pakistan by 58-24 score in the final match of the World Cup Kabaddi 2010 played here on Monday.
By lifting the World Cup, the Indian Kabaddi team also received a cheque of rupees one crore.
Besides India and Pakistan, Britain, USA, Iran, Italy, Canada and Australia also participated in the Kabaddi World Cup. India beat Canada 57-36 in the semifinal. Pakistan beat Italy 57-33 in another semifinal.
Earlier, Indian Kabaddi players made it a one-sided match.
High enthusiasm could be witnessed in the crowd, which looked on its feet during the match.
Present on this occasion were Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who watch the final match till the end.
Later, the Punjab government reportedly announced government jobs for each player of the winning team on its unforgettable win. (ANI)
