Full Bore shooting range inaugurated

GURGAON - Sports Minister M.S Gill Monday inaugurated the newly- constructed Full Bore shooting range which is a venue for the Commonwealth Games.

The shooting range at CRPF Campus here has been constructed at a cost of Rs.28 crore and is located at the foothills of the Aravali range.

Moveable-type electronic targets system will be used for the first time for Full Bore shooting competitions for 300 yards, 500 yards, 600 yards, 900 yards and 1,000 yards.

Speaking on the occasion, Gill suggested starting of an annual Bigbore shooting competition among the Central Para-Military Forces, State Police Forces and the Army for proper utilization of the facility.
