BALTIMORE, MARYLAND (GaeaTimes.com)- The Preakness results have finally been declared, ending the anticipations and the tribulations of all those involved in the races. The results came out on Sunday, May 16. The results of Preakness were all full of disappointments and upsets, with none of the winners, or losers, for that matter, meeting up to the expectations. For one, none of the horses made it to the Triple Crown. Then, Super Saver turned out to be a big disappointment, failing to make it to the top position, despite being the favorite among all the others. In fact, the biggest surprise of the Preakness results, if not the defeat of Super saver, was the victory of Lookin At Lucky.

Lookin At Lucky was the second favorite out of the 12 horses participating in the race. However, despite the close odds, it was not expected that Lookin At Lucky would be declared the winner in the Preakness results, especially as it competed against Super Saver. In fact, Super Saver was the favorite out of all the 14 horses that are due to participate in the race, but the field narrowed down to 12, with two of the horses withdrawing their names from the race.

Super Saver managed to finish miserably in the eighth position, according to the Preakness results. This was obviously a huge disappointment for all those who had placed bets on Super Saver. However, the trainer, Todd Pletcher, went on to say that it was more or less expected, as Super Saver had been way too tired out by his exertions in the Derby, and that the two weeks that he got in the interval of the two races was way too less to really get back into the groove.
