Jordan Romero: Youngest To Climb Everest

CALIFORNIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Jordan Romero, the 13-year-old American boy has made history by becoming the youngest person to climb the Mount Everest. The team of Jordan Romero which consisted of his father and three Sherpa guides reached the peak on early Saturday morning. The spokesman of the team of Jordan Romero mentioned to media sources that the team had called him by using a satellite phone to confirm the news of their reaching the mountain peak that lies 8850 meters above sea level. On Saturday morning a new blog post was added to the official blog of Jordan Romero that went “Their dreams have now come true. Everyone sounded unbelievably happy”. The previous record of being the youngest person to climb the Mount Everest was held by the Nepalese boy Temba Tsheri who escalated the heights as 16 year-old boy.
However, this is not for the first time that Jordan Romero has braved adverse conditions and climbed the peak of any mountain. Three years back, as a 10-year-old boy Jordan Romero had also climbed the Kilimanjaro Mountain. Jordan Romero aims to climb all the highest peaks of the world. Hegot reportedly inspired to climb the highest mountains of the world after he saw the paintings of some of the highest mountains in the seven continents at the hallway of his school. Though he had previously reached to the top of Kilimanjaro, the Everest was his first above 8000 meters expedition challenge.
On Friday, as the Jordan Romero was on his way to the peak, his mother was seen keeping a close eye to his progress through the Live GPS tracker and mentioned to media sources that she is proud of her son. It is not known when the team will bereturningto America.

That is a remarkable achievement because it is achieved when Jordan Romero is 13-year-old. Of course the people most instrumental in this achievement is Romero’s parent, who encourage and nurture her. Congratulations. |
