Jack Roush Plane Crash Injury Not Fatal

New York (GaeaTimes.com) - Jack Roush, the co owner of Roush racing was hospitalized Tuesday night following a plane crash at Wittman Air field in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was a private jet crash, according to the air show organizers at the airport.
Roush was landing at Hawker Beechcraft Premier jet when the crash took place around 6:15 pm local time. A video showed him and co passenger Brenda Strickland walking away when the jet snapped in two. Brenda Strickland is a friend of Roush’s, according to a Roush Fenway Racing Spokesperson Lori Halbeisen.
Roush Fenway Racing president Geoff Smith stated that there are injuries which may lead to surgery. However, the injuries are non life threatening and Jack Roush is in a stable condition. Roush’s injuries include facial lacerations, according to a report.
Geoff Smith also confirmed that the Roush was flying the plane and the plane also belonged to Roush. Apart from this plane, he owns several other aircrafts including a World War II vintage P-51 Mustang.
He was in the place to enjoy the annual Experimental Aircraft Association’s yearly Airventure. The accident took place while his jet was landing.
According to EAA both the passengers have serious but non life threatening injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the EAA have assured inquiries for the accident.
This is not the first time Jack Roush is involved with an plane crash accident. In 2002, he crashed a plane into a pond in Alabama. He was nearly drowned before being rescued by an Ex-Marine living nearby. He sustained serious injuries but he continued flying.
