Sakshi Singh Rawat’s Ranchi Arrival Eagerly Anticipated

RANCHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- While Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wedding to Sakshi Singh Rawat had gone fairly unnoticed by the media, the neighbors and well wishers of the cricketer were waiting in anticipation for their idol’s arrival to Ranchi from Dehradun, so that they may also take part in the celebrations. Reports from Ranchi claim that though the neighbors were not invited to the very private ceremony which took place in Dehradun, they were not to go missing from the reception party which they hoped that the skipper would throw on his arrival. A neighbor at the Harmu housing colony, where Mahendra Singh Dhoni stays excitedly says that they have their dance steps and folk songs ready to welcome home their idol and his bride.

While Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s sudden act of tying the knot with childhood friend Sakshi Singh Rawat too the whole country including the neighbors by surprise, they are very happy for their favorite cricketer. Speaking to the media, most of the neighbors say that the feeling was like their own son getting married and so how could they be angry in spite of not being able to take part in the celebrations. They said that the joy that they had to remain out of during the wedding, will double up if a reception party is arranged post his arrival to Ranchi.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni married Sakshi Singh Rawat on the 4th of July in a ceremony attended by only a few family members and very close friends of the cricketer. The Ranchi press reported that even if a reception party is not in the cards, they would definitely celebrate Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s birthday with a bang.
