Known for his aggressive batting, Tilekaratne Dilshan, once settled can rip apart even the best of bowling attacks. If successful, the safe attack policy of the Sri Lankans can help them score a good total considering that they have a strong middle order. As far as the Indian bowling attack goes, Ishant Sharma is back for the final and is expected to do some wonders on the supportive wicket. Praveen Kumar, Munaf Patel and Ashish Nehra is expected to perform well after the strong bowling performance by all the seamers in the tie against New Zealand.
Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara said after winning the toss that this was one of the best pitches in tournament. He, however, added that it is expected to be slightly more helpful to the bowlers in the later half of the game when the lights are on. With latest reports suggesting that Sri Lanka have got off to a good start, it looks like an uphill task for the Indians under the lights in Dambulla.
