LONDON - Pakistan’s lanky fast bowler Mohammad Amir earned his place into the Lord’s honours board as he took six wickets against England in the first innings of the fourth and final cricket Test match here Saturday.

It is a status reserved for those who take five wickets or score a century at the historical ground.

Amir has been a revelation this season and has picked up 30 wickets in the last six Tests against Australia and England.

The 18-year-old is the youngest player to reach 50 Test wickets and the youngest to make it into the Lord’s honours board.

The lanky fast bowler made his Test debut against Sri Lanka at Galle in July 2009.
