Indian Boxing Federation protests on penalty to Vijender Kumar

NEW DELHI - The Indian Boxing Federation here on Monday filed a complaint against the match refree for imposing two penalty points against boxer Vijender Kumar during his semi-final bout against England’s Ogogo.

India’s poster boy Vijender lost the semi-final match in the 75 kilogram category of boxing competition here at the XIX Commonwealth Games.

A three-member committee will hear the complaint, said television reports in the evening.

The committee’s decision is expected to come by October 13. (ANI)
