MELBOURNE - American golfer Tiger Woods has said that he can still win this week’s Australian Masters, despite undergoing a total rebuild of his swing.
Woods, 34, said he had recently begun a complete remodelling of his swing under coach Sean Foley.
“Absolutely (I have). It’s a work in progress. But sometimes it takes longer than others, you know,” the Herald Sun quoted Woods, as saying.
He added: “I think I’ve got a pretty good chance of wining the event if I play the way I know I can. Things are shaping up.”
Woods said he was excited about returning to take on one of Melbourne’s fabled sandbelt courses. (ANI)
