LONDON - Disgraced golfer Tiger Woods has admitted that he is “infinitely” happier now than he was before the sex scandal that ended his marriage.
In an interview with ESPN Radio, the 34-year-old golfer said he is “So much better now because of this past year.
“I’ve gone through some pretty rough times, pretty low moments. I just want to say, “Thank you” to them and basically reconnect with them,” the Daily Mail quoted Woods as telling hosts Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg.
Next week marks the first anniversary of the start of his private life unravelling after a U.S. magazine linked him with nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel.
Days later, he was involved in a bizarre crash outside his Florida home on Thanksgiving night, leading to revelations from women claiming they had been his secret lover.
“Unfortunately I’ve talked about Thanksgiving for the past year. I think I’ve exhausted that subject,’ Woods said today. ‘But if that didn’t happen, I don’t think I’d be as blessed and as balanced as I am now.” (ANI)
