New Zealand elect to bat in third Test against India

NAGPUR - New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and elected to bat in the third and final cricket Test against India here Saturday.
The start of the match was delayed due to a wet outfield as heavy showers over the past few days had left the ground soggy. The match was scheduled to begin 9.30 a.m. but began only at 12.30 p.m.
The first two Test matches in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad ended in a draw.
