Asian Games: India enters final of men’s kabaddi

GUANGZHOU - Five-time gold medallists India entered the final of men’s kabaddi competitions in the ongoing Asian Games registering a comfortable win over Japan at the Nansha Gymnasium here on Thursday.

Title favourites India, who have won gold in every edition of the quadrennial event since the game’s introduction in 1990, dominated the game from the start and finally beat Japan 52-17.

India will now clash against Iran for the gold medal on Friday.

The Indian women’s kabaddi team will compete against Iran in the semi-finals later today. (ANI)
