NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — Peter Cowen, coach of Lee Westwood has been honored with the title of UK Coach of the Year at the 2010 UK Coaching Awards in London.

He is attributed for accomplishing many tasks such as bringing Westwood to the number one position. He is the one who is help responsible for making his team the top-rated golfer in the world in 2010. He also bagged the crown of high-performance award.

Former cricket coach Jack Birkenshaw won a lifetime achievement award the UK Coaching Awards in London. Cowen has teamed up with Westwood since 1995 and he is continuing his journey to coach the team in an efficient manner.
