CENTURION - The start of the first cricket Test between India and South Africa has been delayed Thursday due to a wet outfield at the SuperSport Park.

The toss, scheduled for 10 a.m. local time ((IST 1.30 p.m.), has been delayed due to a wet outfield following persistent rain in the last couple of days.

The groundsman, Hilbert Smith said the game can start three hours after the rain stops.

Indian pace spearhead Zaheer Khan is unlikely to feature in the playing eleven due to a hamstring injury.
