LONDON - Australian cricket fans have poked fun at hero Shane Warne’s love life with a cheeky message.
They welcomed the spinner on Thursday to the WACA ground in Perth, where the third Ashes Test is currently being played, by waving a banner demanding ‘Bring Back Horny Warnie’.
It was Warne’s first day back at work as an Ashes TV pundit since his fling with British beauty Liz Hurley was revealed, reports the Sun.
And fans couldn’t resist welcoming him back to the Sky Sports commentary box with the cheeky message.
They are campaigning for Warne, 41, to rejoin the national team in a bid to get back into the series, in which they are trailing one-nil. Most of the fans think he’s actually boosted his reputation by pulling Liz,” commented Damien Fisher, 29, of South London.
The couple’s fling was exposed last weekend. They revealed they had split with their partners before seeing each other. (ANI)
