LONDON - Chelsea star Ashley Cole seems to have won over his alleged new girlfriend Kayla Collin’s parents.

Kayla has been banging on about him while spending Christmas in the States and now her parents in Pennsylvania want to meet him face to face.

Kayla’s mum Sheryl Wojciechowski says she is happy for them.

“I know he’s had a difficult time recently but, you know, they seem real happy,” the Sun quoted Sheryl as saying.

“I am very pleased they are together and I am happy for Kayla. She hopes this will work out and be a long-term thing.

“He is happy again and we are happy that she has done that for him. I would just love to meet him,” she said.

Ashley won’t even have to worry about that daunting first meeting with Kayla’s dad, David Dusel, because the father already knows about him and his relationship with ex-wife Cheryl Cole.

“We were at dinner the day Kayla came home to visit for the holidays. I think she’s missing him already from what she’s said. He sounds like a great guy,” David said.

“I know who Cheryl Cole is and I am very familiar with the divorce and everything - I have a lot of friends in the UK.

“A friend of mine told me the whole story and I saw her pop star status and everything, she’s very pretty.

“But Kayla is just a great, great girl and I love her very much and she seems very happy with him,” he added. (ANI)
