LONDON - England football captain Rio Ferdinand just cannot get enough of social networking site Twitter, which he uses to engage in topics from current affairs to general chat.

“It’s a way of communicating with fans,” Sky News quoted him as saying.
“I like to talk on current affairs. And that can be anything from Corrie and X Factor to the North and South Korea conflict. It allows me to talk to the man on the street.
“Importantly, it can right wrongs. A lot of people wrote things about my injury. I got on Twitter to put people right,” he said.nd for a sportsman whose football is seen across the word by millions of people, it’s the folk he connects with on Twitter that makes it a must for him.
“To be part of a something along with 100,00 others is great,” he added. (ANI)
