Murray forgets French Open loss, heads for Wimbledon

PARIS - British tennis player Andy Murray has said that losing in the French Open is not the end of the world, and that he will be heading home to prepare for this year’s Wimbledon.

Murray lost to Spain’s Fernando Gonzalez 6-3 3-6 6-0 6-4 in a quarterfinal yesterday.

“I don’t feel like I’m going to be rusty at all going into the grass, because I have played a lot and still feel confident. It’s not like losing a match like this is going to get me down. Sometimes you just have to say someone was too good. I had my chances, which I didn’t take, but he deserved to win,” The Sun quoted Murray, as saying.
“Gonzalez came up with some big shots when he had to. His forehand is massive, the biggest in the game. But it has been a very good clay court season for me, a lot better than previous years. I stayed injury-free and so, physically, I felt good on the court. I thought I moved better,” he added. (ANI)
