FRISCO, Texas — Cam Weaver scored two goals to lead the Houston Dynamo to a 3-1 victory over FC Dallas on Saturday night, extending their unbeaten streak to 10 games.

Weaver, acquired from San Jose on Tuesday, scored in the 13th minute from the top of the goalkeeper’s box.

Mulrooney scored in the 37th minute from outside the top of the penalty circle.

Weaver then got his first career multigoal game in the 63rd, converting a right-footed shot into the right corner from 12 yards out, to stretch Houston’s lead to 3-0.

Weaver also came close to scoring in the 55th minute with two shots on goal in less than 5 seconds, but Dallas goalkeeper Ray Burse deflected Weaver’s header and then batted away Weaver’s rebound shot while still lying on the ground.

Moor scored in the 67th minute with a header from close range. It was the first goal allowed by the Dynamo in 373 minutes since a 3-1 win over San Jose on May 23.

Dynamo forward Brian Ching missed his second straight MLS game with a left hamstring strain he suffered while with the U.S. National Team on June 2.
