Oram gives himself two more years of international cricket

AUCKLAND - New Zealand all-rounder Jacob Oram has given himself two more years at international level, and says he’s determined to make the most of that time in the middle.t 31, Oram still feels good days are around the corner.

“My body is feeling good. I may only have a couple of years left in the game, if that, so I want to make the most of it and finish on a high and on my terms,” the Dominion Post quoted him, as saying.

“Results don’t show it but I am working on changing things,” he added.

New Zealand’s next assignment is a tour to Sri Lanka in August.

Oram has played 31 Tests in which he has scored 1667 runs at an average of 37.04. He has also snared 60 Test wickets at an average of 31.18.

In One-dayers, he has played 130 matches, scored 2022 runs at an average of 24.65, snared 131 wickets at an average of 30.91.

In Twenty20, he has played 18 matches, scored 352 runs at an average of 27.07. He has three wickets at an average of 120. (ANI)
