Dushevina beats Hradecka to win Istanbul Cup

ISTANBUL — Vera Dushevina of Russia has beaten Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic 6-0, 6-1 in the Istanbul Cup final to win her first WTA title.

The fifth-seeded Dushevina defeated the eighth-seeded Hradecka in 41 minutes on Sunday. Dushevina’s previous best result was reaching the final in Stockholm in 2008.

Top-seeded Vera Zvonareva and No. 2 Patty Schnyder were knocked out in the first round.
