Dragulescu goes 2 for 2, taking gold on vault
LONDON — Marian Dragulescu is golden again. Not bad for a guy who was retired six months ago.
The Romanian won his fourth vault title at the world gymnastics championships on Sunday, his second gold medal in as many days. He also won the floor exercise Saturday. Teammate Flavius Koczi was second, and Olympic bronze medalist Anton Golotsutskov was third.
Dragulescu, who also doubled on vault and floor at the 2006 and 2001 worlds, retired for about eight months after the Beijing Olympics because of chronic back and neck problems.
