Green’s late free throws help La Salle hold off Tulane 61-59 in Charleston Classic

La Salle beats Tulane 61-59
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Rodney Green was 4-for-4 from the foul line in the final 48 seconds, and La Salle held on to beat Tulane 61-59 on Sunday in the third round of the Charleston Classic.
Kimmani Barrett finished with 14 points to lead La Salle (3-1), while Green finished with 13.
Kris Richard led Tulane (1-3) with 17 points.
The Green Wave had the final possession, but Kevin Sims missed a wide-open 3-point shot at the buzzer.
The game was close throughout, as La Salle
La Salle opened the tournament with a 78-68 loss to South Carolina on Thursday, then beat Davidson 84-70 in Friday
