India opt to field against Sri Lanka

NAGPUR - India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field against Sri Lanka in the first Twenty20 international at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) stadium at Jamtha here Wednesday.
India have rested Sachin Tendulkar as Sudip Tyagi gets his maiden ODI cap. Sri Lanka have left out Mahela Jayawardene and Lasith Malinga while fast bowler Chanaka Welegedara and debutant Muthumudalige Pushpakumara were included in the team.
