Dubai moving ahead with Tiger Woods golf course

NEW YORK - A Dubai real estate firm is standing by scandal-hit Tiger Woods.
Dubai Properties Group has announced its commitment to the sports ace, claiming that it will finish Tiger Woods Dubai, a 55-million sq.-foot golf fantasyland in the desert emirate.
The resort features the first golf course designed by Woods, Al Ruwaya, a 7,800 yard, 18-hole, par 72 course. On its Web site, the resort boasts it is the “vision of its namesake.”
Woods, 33, said Dec. 11 that he was taking an indefinite break from professional golf, citing infidelity and the need to focus on being a “better husband, father and person.”
Meanwhile, Accenture Plc and Procter and Gamble Co.’s Gillette have announced plans to drop him from advertising campaigns. (ANI)
