Sehwag to lead; Karthik replaces Dhoni, Ishant recalled (Roundup)

NAGPUR/ CHENNAI - Dinesh Karthik will keep wickets in the third and fourth one-day internationals against Sri Lanka as skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni serves a two match suspension for India’s slow over rate in the Nagpur game Friday.

Fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been recalled in place of S. Sreesanth, who is recovering from a bout of swine flu.

Virender Sehwag has been named the captain of the 15-member Indian squad for the matches at Cuttack (Dec 21) and Kolkata (Dec 24).

The national selection committee that met at Chennai Saturday named a virtually unchanged squad.

Dhoni will be returning to the fray for the fifth and final game in Delhi December 2.
