SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- Troy University fought against the Central Michigan at the GMAC Bowl and it was what everybody expected it to be: action packed to the last minute. Troy University saw a 31-yard field goal which was attempted but stopped by Vince Agnew. This was done so that the second overtime could be started. The victory goal was made by Andrew Aguila and measured 37 yards. This was also Andrew Aguila’s fifth goal.

The Troy University at the GMAC Bowl were defeated after a double overtime was given to the Central Michigan in order to take them down. The game saw Dan LeFevour, who serves as the senior quarterback, make his way to the number 2 place at the “Football Bowl Subdivision’s Career Total Yards List”. He made a touchdown pass so that the Chippeas went ahead- when just around 1.17 minutes were left. This was soon followed by the Trojans making a field goal and tying the score. The Trojans at 9-4 managed to get a hattrick of touchdowns, courtesy DuJuan Harris, who serves as the running back. By the fourth quarter, the team was 31-19 and soon gave a “kickoff return to Antonio Brown”, which measured 95 yards.

The Troy University lost a very close match at the GMAC Bowl. No. 25 Central Michigan completed the team’s football campaign for the year end 2009, by beating the Troy University 44-41. The CMU coach, Steve Stripling was heard exclaiming “what an exciting game”, a fact that no one seems to be contradicting. He also said that he was happy for the players and that their goal to come within the top 25 teams has been “hopefully met”. Even Dan LeFevour said that this game would remain to be an epic for most players even after his team had won the MAC championship.
