Alok through to pre-quarters of All India Snooker

CHENNAI - Former national champion Alok Kumar won all his three league matches and led the field into the pre-quarter-finals of the Alumni Club All-India Invitational Snooker tournament, here Wednesday.
In his concluding group D match, veteran Alok slipped past Shabaz Adil Khan 3-1 to complete his league engagements with an unbeaten record.
Also making the round of 16 were Aditya Mehta, Devendra Joshi, Alok Kumar, Yasin Merchant, Ashok Shandilya, Geet Sethi, Kamal Chawla, IH Manudev, Shabaz Adil Khan, Girish Rajasekar, Manan Chandra, Prem Prakash, Brijesh Damani and Harpreet Singh.
