Herbst wins WCup night slalom in Austria
SCHLADMING, Austria — Reinfried Herbst of Austria has won a World Cup night slalom.
Bode Miller finished out of the top 10 after placing 26th in the first run.
Herbst earned his third win of the season and eighth overall, finishing the icy course in Austria in an aggregate time of 1 minute, 45.91 seconds on Tuesday.
Silvan Zurbriggen of Switzerland was 0.56 seconds back in second. Manfred Pranger of Austria, who led after the first run, finished third.
Benjamin Raich of Austria was fourth and extended his lead over Carlo Janka of Switzerland in the overall World Cup standings by 74 points.
