MELBOURNE - British tennis star Andy Murray will have the backing and support of ex-world welterweight champion Ricky Hatton, when he takes on 14th seed Marin Cilic in the semi-final of the Australian Open tomorrow.
Murray is in the form of his life and has yet to drop a set here, having been on court for just 10 hours and one minute.
Hatton, 31, says he has no doubt about Murray winning tomorrow’s clash.
Speaking of Murray’s systematic demolition of Spaniard Rafael Nadal, the Sun quoted 31-year-old Hatton as saying: “It was brilliant stuff and I’m really proud of Andy. You have to take your hat off to him.” (ANI)
