Fuzzy Britches wins Big A’s Dearly Precious Stakes
NEW YORK — Fuzzy Britches, the 4-5 favorite, held off Judge Sonya by a half length Sunday to win the $63,700 Dearly Precious Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.
Ramon Dominguez was aboard for trainer Rick Dutrow, Jr., as Fuzzy Britches earned her first stakes victory, improving her record to 3-4. The time was 1:11.88 for the six furlongs on the fast track.
Fuzzy Britches paid $3.80, $2.50 and $2.10. Judge Sonya returned $4.10 and $2.80. Wild News paid $2.40 to show.
