VANCOUVER, (GaeaTimes.com)- On Monday the Olympics Winter Games 2010 saw another Chinese couple Pang Qing and Tong Jian dance to the tune of “The impossible dream” to grab the silver in the pair figure Skating. The gold for the event was won by their Chinese compatriot Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo. The German couple Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy fell from their second position in the short Program on Sunday and bagged the Bronze medal while the record holding Russians who have held the first position from 1960s had to leave without any.

The silver medal winner Pang Qing and Tong Jian danced to the tune of “The Impossible dream” from “The Man of La Mancha”. Their moves were perfect and thought by many as the perfect dance of the evening. They proved with their dance on the ice floor that nothing is impossible. This appearance is perhaps their last one which got them a silver. They performed some of the most beautiful tricks on the ice. The throws and lifts were brilliantly managed and while even the first couple too made a mistake, their dance was a flawless one. The couple’s hard work was evident from their performance which was power packed. The moves were brilliantly choreographed and they performed some of the most dangerous moves without any problem.

The pair brought a new lease of life to the music of ‘Dream the impossible dream’ with their performance and emotion. After their performance they cheered the other team from their country who went on to give a golden performance. Standing on the victory stand the two pairs made their country proud by setting a new world record.
