Bhupathi-Mirnyi knocked out in Memphis first round

MEMPHIS - India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus went down in straight sets to American pair Eric Butorac and Rajeev Ram in the doubles first round of the $1,100,000 Regions Morgan Keegan Championship tennis.
Bhupathi and Mirnyi, seeded first, lost 4-6, 4-6 on the hard courts here Tuesday.
The two, who came back together for this season, also crashed out of last month’s
Australian Open.
