Johnny Weir Tanith Belbin: Roommates!

VANCOUVER, CANADA (GaeaTimes.com)- The Vancouver Winter Olympics that started a few days back in Canada is hogging the attention of the sports lovers these days. However, it is not only the sports event and winners of specific games that are getting the limelight. The behind-the-scene incidents of the Winter Olympics are also drawing the attention of the people. Johnny Weir who is a US figure skater has been allotted a room in the Olympics village and he is to share it with a woman ice dancer. The woman is Tanith Belbin. However, that is not all. What makes this all the more interesting is the fact that she is Evan Lysacek’s ex-flame. Evan Lysacek is the teammate of Johnny Weir.
According to the available news, both Johnny Weir and Tanith Belbin wanted separate and single rooms in the village. However, the authorities could not get separate rooms for the two. The figure skater has made it clear that sharing a room with a female roommate is not going to be a problem for him. On the contrary he thinks that it would make things easier for him as he knows the lady well.
Johnny Weir is not on amiable terms with all of his teammates, as he himself has admitted. However, with Tanith Belbin he does not have any issue. In fact he got the room decorated for her. The lady was also said to be happy with the look of the revamped room. It remains to be seen how Evan Lysacek reacts to this.
