Sebastian Telfair: With Cleveland Cavaliers

WASHINGTON, (GaeaTimes.com)- Sebastian Telfair, the points guard of the Los Angeles Clippers, has been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. No doubt he had been a very obvious choice for the team, given his talent and experience. The Cleveland Cavaliers had long been looking for a player who would be able to handle their back court, something which has long been a weakened position following the injuries of some of the players. According to the general manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Danny Ferry, it was but natural for the Cleveland Cavaliers to approach Sebastien Telfair, as he is arguably one of the most talented point guards in Coney Island.
Sebastian Telfair has an impressive record in the basketball court. He had been a professional basketball player for the past five years, and has played a total of 388 games, of which he had started in 181. He has the impressive record of making 3.9 assists per game, on an average, in every 23.6 minutes. His career average is 7.8 points. In the last season itself, in which he played in 39 games, Sebastian Telfair had managed to score 4.3 points on .404 shooting. He also made 2.9 assists per game, in each 14.9 minutes.
Sebastian Telfair was traded by the Los Angeles Clippers as part of a three way deal. The deal had taken place between the Los Angeles Clippers, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Washington Wizards. Besides acquiring Sebastian Telfair, the Cleveland Cavaliers had also struck up a deal with the forward Antwan Jamison. In order to close the deal, the Cleveland Cavaliers traded the center of their team, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, to the Los Angeles Clippers.
