LONDON - Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will fine Ashley Cole 200,000 pounds for smuggling girls into the team’s hotel on the eve of matches.

The Chelsea owner was so angry over love rat Cole’s sex scandal that he ordered chief executive Ron Gourlay to be tough with the Blues’ sinning stars.

“It was the owner’s idea and we have had a meeting with all the players this week, explaining to them the behaviour that is expected here. Now, everyone knows what they have to do to protect the image of this club,” said boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Gourlay and Ancelotti delivered a no-holds barred warning to the entire squad at the Cobham training ground on Wednesday, The Sun reports.

Chelsea players were warned that there would be severe consequences for anyone stepping out of line again.

And married Cole, who signed a new 100,000 pound-a-week deal in September, is set to be docked two weeks’ wages for dragging Chelsea’s name through the mud.

The paper’s report that Cole, 29, smuggled secretary Vicki Gough into his hotel room before last season’s away games at Hull and West Brom made Abramovich furious.

The Russian tycoon is already angry about captain John Terry’s affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the former girlfriend of ex-star Wayne Bridge, was revealed. (ANI)
