Mosi Tatupu Dies At 54

BOSTON (GaeaTimes.com)- There is some really disappointing news for all the fans of former National Football League player Mosi Tatupu as the much acclaimed running back passed away on Tuesday. The player, who earned a name as one of the most popular players of the New England Patriots, was 54 at the time of his death.

It has been revealed that Mosi Tatupu breathed his last at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro and the news of his death has been confirmed by the spokesperson of the medical facility. However, the reasons which led to the demise of the reputed running back has not been stated by the hospital authorities. At the same time, it has also come to light that Mosi Tatupu was rushed to the hospital by the Plainville Fire Department which reportedly responded to an emergency call from the former Los Angeles Rams player’s home on Tuesday.

While reacting to the unfortunate demise of Mosi Tatupu, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has emphasized that he shares the grief of all the Patriots fans who have come to know about the death of one of their favorite former Patriots player. Moreover, Robert Kraft also remembered Mosi Tatupu as a dominant special teams player as well as a competent rushes who loved all his fans.

Mosi Tatupu was drafted by the New England Patriots in the year 1978 and it marked the beginning of an illustrious association of the running back with the team. Out of his 14 NFL seasons, Mosi Tatupu played 13 seasons with the Patriots and ended his career with the Los Angeles Rams in the year 1991.
