LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The latest Tiger Woods Nike commercial has been grabbing quite a lot of attention from all quarters. Not only has it become one of the most viewed advertisements that were aired during the Masters Tournament, it also became one of the most talked about of all the commercials Tiger Woods has featured in till date, Nike or otherwise. It can be understood why the commercial got to be so controversial if one takes a look at it. In the commercial, one sees the repentant looking Tiger Woods staring at the camera, while a voiceover by his late father plays in the background, asking him probing questions. This very concept has been taken by Funny Or Die in their spoof of the advertisement.

The spoof of the new Tiger Woods Nike commercial is hilarious. There are quite a lot of such spoofs available on the internet, but there can be no debate about the fact that the one by Funny Or Die surely gets the trophy. Using humor that is almost risque, the makers of the video pokes fun at the video very effectively. The video is shot in the very same way as the original commercial, but in a marked diversion, the Tiger Woods featuring in the spoof speaks.

In the spoof of the Tiger Woods Nike commercial, the voiceover by his father is replaced by that of Morgan Freeman, possibly from the movie “Shawshank Redemption.” Initially, the fake Tiger Woods addresses the phantom voice as “daddy zombie voice.” In reply to the queries of the father, the spoofed Tiger Woods says that he gets a feeling of “burning down there,” and that he has learnt from the episode not to send text messages.
