IRVING, TEXAS (GaeaTimes.com)- The celebrated Texas Stadium would be transformed into a mass of ruins and debris when dynamite would be used to blow up the venue, known to have been the home field of the Dallas Cowboys during its five Super Bowl championships. The historic stadium which holds testimony to years of high adrenaline football games would be demolished on Sunday morning, reports have stated.
It has been revealed that the Texas Stadium implosion would be triggered by a push of button which would within a period of just a minute, bring down the venue with all its legacy. It has come to light that around 2,200 holes have been made in the stadium which has been filled with dynamite. Around 50 explosions are likely to take place in the Texas Stadium today which would be enough to blow up the iconic structure within few moments. While reacting to the Texas Stadium implosion, former Dallas Cowboys player, Drew Pearson divulged on Friday that although the legendary stadium can be destructed, no one can possibly take away the huge array of memories that is associated with the venue. However, Walt Garrison, the former running back does not really agree with the notion as according to him, memories hold importance not from where one has played but with whom it has been played.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that in the Texas Stadium implosion, the button to initiate the explosion would be pulled by an 11 year old boy, Casey Rogers who won an essay competition that was held across the country by writing about his charity.
