San Francisco (GaeaTimes.com) The UFC 112 post fight press conference had some harsh words from UFC president Dana White after the battle between Anderson Silva and Demian Maia.
Dana White called said that the matche was ‘disgrace’ and he was blown away, disgusted and saddened by the performance of Silva. He was particularly outraged at Silva’s antics in the bout. He made joke of half the fight and danced around the ring. He failed to engage Maia and his effort at the UFC 90 and 97 were repeated.
The frustration of Dana White was genuine but ultimately the factors did not go too bad for UFC at the end of the day. Though the Silva Vs Maia fight had no spice, the forgettable match turned into a memorable one with the controversy. The press conference made some coverage though the whole match was a snoozer.
Before UFC, WWE was eminent for this kind of classic Don King style promotion. The UFC press conference made something out of nothing and Dana White’s outburst can be considered as an advertising though White seemed to be genuinely disgusted. Anyhow it was an interesting press conference and it had all the drama that we needed this Saturday.
