Kentucky Oaks Witness “Blind Luck” Victory

LOUISVILLE (GaeaTimes.com)- Kentucky Oaks witnessed the glory of Blind Luck as she raced away to the victory line with her jockey Rafael Bejarano. Blind Luck’s win at the Kentucky Oaks happens to be one of her fastest wins at the Derby which adds to her crowning glory.
Kentucky Oaks had Blind Luck racing a total stretch of 1 and 1/16 miles in a record finish of 1:50:70. She ran fast enough to beat Evening Jewel who came up real fast in the first half of the race when predictions did seem to alter at Kentucky Oaks. Coming up from behind, Blind Luck rode to victory as she moved ahead to leave behind “Evening Jewel” and the “Beautician” who finished in the second and the fourth place respectively.
The victory of Blind Luck at the Kentucky Oaks makes Jerry Hollendorfer the trainer of the horse a very happy man who told the media that it gives him extreme pleasure to be called the trainer of Kentucky Oaks winner which is the greatest joy to him. Even Tidal Pool finished third at the Kentucky Oaks as it lost its way in the middle of the race. Perhaps the greatest disappointment was the defeat of Rachel Alexandra which has been the champion horse for the season. Kentucky Oaks had Blind Luck at a Bet down of 6-5 favorite as it raced all the way to record one of the closest derby finishes at the Kentucky Oaks. Just a few steps slow and things could have been different at Kentucky Oaks which have witnessed many a close encounters over a long string of Derby sessions. With this victory, Blind Luck shall have a strong bet down ration in all upcoming Derby sessions.
