LAS VEGAS (GaeaTimes.com)- Floyd Mayweather Jr on Saturday night once again continued to rule the ring. The 33-year-old boxer remained undefeated for the 41st time. In the Welterweight title game against 38-year-old Sugar Shane Mosley, the former seemed to be brimming with energy along with a technique and skill which seemed hard to be surpassed by any other boxer. Though Sugar Shane Mosley had said before the game reportedly that the label of the underdog does not bother him and that he would shock the world with his win over the undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr, it seemed towards the end of the game on Saturday that though Sugar Shane Mosley is not an underdog, there is no doubt that Floyd Mayweather Jr is the favorite of the audience.
Floyd Mayweather Jr on Saturday went for his 41st win and it was clear from the beginning of the game that he wanted it to be a knockdown win. Against Sugar Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather Jr displayed speed from the very beginning. He showed unusual aggression in round one but in round two was overpowered once by Sugar Shane Mosley who landed a right land on the chin of his opponent. Though it shook Floyd Mayweather Jr, there is no doubt that the move made him all the more aggressive as for the rest of the game it was he who went on pouring punches one after the other over Sugar Shane Mosley.
In the eighth round of the game Floyd Mayweather Jr landed a heavy right punch over Sugar Shane Mosley that seemed to drain the latter of all of his energy. Towards the tenth and the eleventh round it was clear that the scorecards will declare Floyd Mayweather Jr the winner which it did after a unanimous decision.
