Dynamo get first road win, 2-0 over Chivas USA

CARSON, Calif. — Houston midfielder Brad Davis scored a goal and set up another in the first 8 minutes and the Dynamo got their first road win of the season, beating Chivas USA 2-0 on Saturday night.

Brian Ching was in uniform for Houston (4-3-1) for the first time since injuring his hamstring on April 1. While he did not play, he warmed up on the sidelines during the second half, mostly jogging lightly and stretching.

Sacha Kljestan and Jonathan Bornstsein played the entire match for Chivas USA (3-4-1), but neither was able to help the team break down Houston’s defense.

Adrian Serioux scored Houston’s second goal of the match as he got on the end of Davis’ corner kick.
