Erica Blasberg: LPGA Golfer Found Dead

Nevada (GaeaTimes.com) LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg was found dead yesterday in her home at Henderson, Nevada. The cause of her death is unknown or has not yet been disclosed. The 25 year old golfer was in her sixth season on the LPGA Tour. She has recently finished at a tied 44th position at the Tres Marias Championship in Morelia, Mexico.
She was the face for Puma Golf since 2006. She has also done several commercials and advertisements for Puma Golf brand.
PUMA is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of PUMA Athlete and friend, professional golfer Erica Blasberg.

The Southern California native had a promising career. She went to high school in Corona and was a two time All American at the University of Arizona. She was named NCAA freshman of the year and was also awarded the Pac 10 player of the year in 2003. She turned professional in 2004 and was qualified to join the Tour in 2005. She had the best year on tour on 2008. She earned a career best tie for eighth position at the SBS open in Hawaii. Her agent Chase Callahan said,
She lived out her dream of playing professional golf on the highest level on the LPGA Tour, allowing her to help inspire others. We are proud of Erica for everything she accomplished. This is a painful loss, we feel it in our hearts and we will miss her. Erica would want those close to her to celebrate the life she lived. We ask that you keep Erica and her family in your prayers.
