MOHALI - In a bid to recover pending dues amounting to Rs.6.5 crore, Income Tax officials Thursday attached three bank accounts of the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA).

“Our department has today attached three bank accounts of the PCA to recover the pending tax,” Income Tax commissioner (range II) A.K. Kaushal told IANS.

“The PCA had not paid the income tax of nearly Rs.6.5 crore that was due for the last two years. We had sent them various reminders before taking this action.”

Last month April 16, an 11-member Income Tax department team had visited the PCA stadium here to collect documents and records pertaining to the Indian Premier League.
