The company had the plan to use the legendary player on the cover of the game from the time the game was in the making. The player on his part is cool about it. He said that getting featured on the cover of the game is an honor for him.

Michael Jordan also said that he feels the game NBA 2K11 will prove to be a success after it gets released in October this year.
