Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic Wins Over Pat Barry

VANCOUVER, CANADA (GaeaTimes.com)- Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and Pat Barry bout in the UFC 115 turned out to be one of the most exciting games as till the middle of the third round it was hard to decide the fighter who would win. Both the players in the ring showed strength and courage and came up with aggressive moves. At the end Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic was able to defeat Pat Barry after going for a rear naked choke at 4:30 in the third round.

At the beginning of the game it was Pat Barry who came up with the aggressive moves. He was able to knock down Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at the very beginning of the first round. Pat Barry also went for a punch that made Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic face swell. On the part of Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, he tried to take down Pat Barry once but could not manage well. It seemed that none of the players were in a mood to submit. In the second round Mirko Filipovic came forward with his left kick which he used twice. Mirko Filipovic rained his opponent with punches and it became clear that this round will go in favor of the former. Pat Barry failed to deliver a left kick and fell providing Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic with the opportunity to full mount over him. However, that was a short lived moment and Pat Barry was successful in defending the rear naked choke that Mirko Filipovic tried to go for.

As the players entered the third round of the fight the excitement mounted as the players were having a tie. However, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic got and early lead as he came forward with a flurry of punches. Towards the end he went for the rear naked choke that made Pat Barry tap and submit.
