Asian Games cycling: Sombir, Atul finish 27th and 32nd in road race

GUANGZHOU - Indian cyclists Sombir and Atul Kumar finished 27th and 32nd in the individual road race competition at the Asian Games here Monday.

Sombir clocked four hours 15 minutes 15.42 secs while Atul Kumar recorded 4:15:59.39 secs.

Kam Po Wong of Hong Kong completed the 180 km race almost a minute before the Indians to win the gold with a timing of 4:14:54.18 secs.

The silver went to Takashi Miyazawa of Japan as he finished with a timing of 4:14:54.33 secs. Chinese Rongxi Zou won the bronze with a timing of 4:14:54.96s.
